Download TWiki Home Version 3.2.x (Windows) from SourceForge.net. We found that some users needed to update their installations of TWiki to version 3.2. We have received reports that since the release of Windows 7 in July, the installation instructions on Windows XP no longer work. Various Windows 7 users have reported TWiki download issues since the release of Windows 7 in July.
If TWiki has been installed on a machine prior to the release of Windows 7, the instructions below apply. However, some changes are required to download TWiki 4.1.5 correctly on Windows 7. Most notably, in Windows 7, TWiki is no longer an admin tool but a normal application that runs as a different user (in the case of Windows 7, the user you set up in the Control Panel during installation). Download TWiki 4.1.5 For Windows 7. On Windows XP, select TWiki 4.1.4 to download. On Windows 7, select TWiki 4.1.5 to download.
MS Windows Cmd File Explorer
The steps below describe how to install TWiki on an MS Windows machine. The machine must have MS Windows Explorer 10 or above.
Note: Windows XP users should select TWiki 4.1.4 to install as described below.
1. Log in as an Administrator with administrative privileges. 2. Go to Start - CMD (Windows XP), click on Start - Run, type cmd and click on OK.
3. At the CMD prompt, type "cd" to change to the correct folder containing the TWiki executable, and then type "chmod.exe +x TWiki". The command should be followed by a line stating "File size: ".
4. If the chmod command is successful, run "TWiki" to start TWiki.
Alternative (for Windows users who cannot use the above method):
Download TWiki for Windows 7, from SourceForge.net.
On Windows 7, select TWiki 4.1.5 to download.
Installing TWiki on Windows XP
If Windows XP is the target machine, you must also download and install the Microsoft Internet Explorer Security Update. Be sure to choose the "KB966069-KB966069-x86-x64-AllOS-ENU.exe" version of the update. The update must be applied in this order before installing TWiki on
